Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Participation

When you register for a seminar at the Balthasar Academy, we collect the data specified on the registration form (mandatory fields are marked with *), which is used solely for the purposes of processing your registration and participation in our seminars. Once we have received your registration, you will receive a confirmation of registration. Should the seminar already be fully booked, we will contact you and will be happy to place you on a waiting list. The registration deadline is four weeks before the start of each seminar.

The Balthasar Academy reserves the right to cancel a seminar if the number of participants is too low.

The seminar price includes: Welcome coffee/tea and water in the conference room. Depending on the duration of the seminar, we also offer a small lunch, with vegetarian food on request.

If you have registered for a paid seminar, you will receive an invoice with the confirmation of the seminar date. The fee must be transferred to the specified account by the due date.

Cancellation of your binding registration is only possible in writing. If no other person can take your place, a processing fee of 10% of the seminar fee will be charged. If the cancellation is made 10 days or less before the start of the seminar, 80% of the seminar fee must be paid. No refund will be made without written cancellation.

If a seminar has to be cancelled due to insufficient participation, cancellation of the speaker or other unforeseeable events, the participants will be informed as soon as possible and the seminar fee will be refunded.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for damage on the way to the seminar or during the event (accidents, damage, theft).

After your seminar, you will receive a certificate of attendance from us.

By participating in selected seminars, you will be recognised with continuing education points for the registration of professional carers.
