Meaningful work in a children’s hospice
Supporting children, teenagers and young adults with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, is a professionally demanding yet deeply meaningful role. For interested professionals, jobs at the children’s hospice offer a wide range of opportunities to work in a professional and respectful environment. Our organisation is regularly seeking qualified staff, particularly in the fields of healthcare and paediatric nursing, as well as therapeutic care and the psychosocial sector. Our staff provide holistic, needs-based care for our guests. The focus is on individualised, high-quality support that offers families the greatest possible relief from the demands of daily life.
Interdisciplinary teamwork
A key feature of our work is our interdisciplinary approach. In our team, nursing staff and psychosocial professionals work closely together in a spirit of trust. Those interested in our vacancies will find a working culture characterised by collegial exchange and flat hierarchies. This interdisciplinary dialogue ensures that the complex needs of our residents are met professionally at all levels. We place great importance on our staff being able to contribute and develop their individual professional skills. Regular team meetings and case conferences ensure the high quality of our work and foster team spirit among our staff.
Good working conditions and professional development
We are aware of the particular challenges this work entails. We therefore offer our staff working conditions that enable them to practise their profession in a healthy and sustainable manner over the long term. This includes structured induction programmes and supervision to facilitate professional reflection on their experiences. Furthermore, we promote the continuous development of our team. As part of our children’s hospice roles, we offer staff opportunities for professional and personal development.
